Tetris — Side Panel

Privacy Policy · Last updated: July 19, 2026

No data collection

"Tetris — Side Panel" is a single-player game that runs entirely inside your browser. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the extension does and does not do with your data.

What the extension stores

The extension saves the following information using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API, which keeps data on your own device only:

What the extension does not do

Permissions used

storage
Saves your game progress, high scores, and settings on your own device via chrome.storage.local.
sidePanel
Lets the game open and run inside Chrome's side panel instead of a separate tab or popup.

Sound

All in-game sound effects are generated on the fly using the Web Audio API. No audio files are downloaded or recorded, and your microphone is never accessed.

Data sharing

Since no data ever leaves your device, none is shared with the developer, advertisers, analytics providers, or any other third party.

Children's privacy

The extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds an optional online feature — the "Last updated" date above will be revised and the new terms will be described here before the change ships.

Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent via the developer link in the extension's "About" screen, or to formatron.service@gmail.com.
